UV can affect people in numerous ways particularly the face and eyes. These effects are dependent on the UV wavelength, its intensity and to a certain extent the skin type of the person. We recommend the use of UV protection for all wavelengths especially if the eyes are likely to become exposed in any way. For complete protection we recommend the use of either UV blocking spectacles, goggles or face shield. When working with transilluminators we recommend a full face shield.
