FTA Elute technology for convenient water based elution of nucleic acids. QIAcard FTA Elute Micro format with 4 spot area (spot volume 12-40µL) to collect, stabilise, process, transport, and archive coloured samples such as blood. FTA technology enables cell lysis on contact, denatures proteins and immediate stabilization and protection of nucleic acids.


QIAcard Indicating FTA Cards include a pink dye that turns white when a colourless sample, e.g. buccal cells or saliva is applied. Stabilisation and protection of nucleic acids at room temperature with for spot volumes of 125µL. Cell lysis on contact, denatures proteins and protects DNA from degradation.
