General description

PVDF protein blotting membrane, provides low auto-fluorescence across a wide range of excitation/emission wavelengths. Low-fluorescent PVDF membrane optimized for fluorescent Western blotting applications.

Amersham^™ Hybond^® LFP 0.2 PVDF, a low-fluorescent, 0.2 µm pore size hydrophobic membrane, is mainly used for protein transfer. It is optimized to use in western blotting applications for fluorescent detection as well as for use with the Amersham^™ ECL^™ Plex detection system. Low background fluorescence of this membrane results in high sensitivity. Its protein binding capacity is > 200 µg/cm².
