Biochem/physiol Actions
ED50 = 10-50 ng/ml as measured in a cell proliferation assay using 4MBr-5 monkey epithelial cells.
General description
Recombinant, mouse keratinocyte growth factor (KGF) consisting of amino acids 32-194 and expressed in E. coli. KGF plays an essential role in development, tumorigenesis, angiogenesis, morphogenesis, and wound healing. Mature mouse KGF amino acid sequence is 96% identical with rat, bovine, ovine, equine, and human forms and is active across species.
