TBE Buffer for DNA/RNA Electrophoresis

National Diagnostics' TBE Buffer is a concentrated buffer solution of TrisBorate-EDTA in distilled/deionized water. TBE is ready-to-use as a 10X or 5X concentrate. When diluted, the 1X solution contains 0.089M Tris base, 0.089M boric acid (pH 8.3) and 2mM Na2EDTA.

Keep in a tightly closed container, stored in a cooled, dry, ventilated area. Avoid contact and inhalation. Do not get in eyes, on skin, on clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.
